I built a small pond this year and put some colourful minerals pieces around it including a piece of very deep purple Amethyst I collected a few years ago. To my disbelief it has been stolen this week!

2,5mm Garnets on matrix from Chycornish Cliff Botallack. A few specimens where collected in the 1820’s from an unknown location from cliffs around Botallack. As far as I know the location has never been found again. The matrix is similar to areas of Crowns Rock.

A fine blue Woodwardite specimen from South Caradon mine probably collected at the time the mine was open in the 1800’s. Obtained from an old collection.
