Today 12 students from the Department of Earth Sciences Royal Holloway, University  of London led by Dr David Alderton took soil samples over a 30 metre stretch of pasture land above the crusher house where the lode has been plotted.

The samples collected by auger will be analysed for the presence of antimony. The results will be available in a few months.

Later this year a 4m deep trench will be cut here and more samples taken.
