I picked the hottest day of the year to dig on the dump!
Dug a 2 metre deep trench next to the successful hole sunk last year.
First glance doesn’t look too promising, when the inevitable rain arrives I expect a few choice specimens will show.

The Great Flat Lode

The Great flat lode in all its glory. The stope drops away to water, little evidence of any mineralisation. Nice to be dry for once!

This specimen was collected in 1990 from 17 level Peeth lode Geevor Tin Mine

I believe this is the only recorded location for this mineral in the UK
