Amazing, is this near you, or from the shaft near the old school?
Is this not normally flooded?
You showed me the open engine shaft, when I visited a few years ago, and it was flooded quite high up then, does the dry summer mean there’s more exposed?
Down in Herodsfoot next week, hopefully it won’t be too wet this year!
Wondered where this was…… engine shaft or one by School Road?
Guess water levels were down this summer, but did they affect the levels in the shafts?
Think they’ll get topped up this week since we are in Herodsfoot!

Cheers, David.
Engine shaft water level is way down this year. The river is also very low which makes a difference.
